We kept in touch with families despite the restrictions during the pandemic and regularly distributed food packages (rice, beans, powdered milk, corn flakes, sugar, coffee, oil, etc.). In addition, we tried to help where families told us of their need (for example, where a stove or kitchen gas was missing). We also had breathing masks sewn and distributed them along with an information letter about COVID-19.
The distribution of food packages for needy families continues constantly. It is estimated that we have distributed 40,000 kg of food during this pandemic period.
