Summer market in the Wendelin Chapel

On all four Sundays in August – the main travel and vacation season in Baden-Württemberg – the Taube bookstore together with the gallery in the 580-year-old Wendelinskapelle in Marbach am Neckar invited visitors to discover culture and art from other continents.

On three Sundays, the focus was on art and floristry, and on the last Sunday in August, fine culinary delicacies from Africa and South America were offered as a finale. These included spices, chocolate, coffee, jewelry and scarves – all fair-trade products from Marbach’s One World Shop “s’Lädle”.

The proceeds from the sale were forwarded to the daycare center “Little Piece of Heaven” in Aracaju.
